Poem

You’re my path, I loved you in past lives, my rock, when angry winds sigh
My beacon when truth lies, promise I will not be the cause of your tears
I would rather tear out my heart, tearing it apart, than see you cry
Not a masquerade, this is no bluff, within my hand I hold no lies.
You make me want to be a better me, with my back against the wall, hanging on not to fall
Even when I attended Hope’s funeral, within me, it died.
You inspire, in your eyes I see your fire, igniting my spark, lighting my pyre.
Holding hands with the sun, my future seems brighter,
I can see a vision in my head, a picturesque portrait of your laughter. a p
