Maybe it will rain by Lettersfrommari

Poem

I sat down by the window,
Thinking if today will rain.
Unknowingly, I felt sorrow,
Unfortunately, only in vain.

Clouded mind, misty eyes,
Back in the old times.
Holding back my thoughts,
Still remembered the battles fought.

So I looked up to the sky again,
Feeling troubled, without any gain.
A soft sigh, heart in pain,
Yes, today, maybe it will rain.
