At what point will you hear my patter?
Gut-jolting, tear-jerking madness
Head-rearing, spine-curdling, heart aflutter
Yet there reigns an oblivious stiffness
Gut-jolting, tear-jerking madness
Substantiated by science and research
Yet there reigns an oblivious stiffness
Self-absorbed denial on her perch
Substantiated by science and research
Never enough for herds and masses
Self-absorbed denial on her perch
Egotistical caresses
Never enough for herds and masses
“Truth” dances in circles to flatter,
Egotistical caresses
At what point will you hear my patter?
