Poem

Am I unsure, missing this time?
Something vital might come my way.
Is this experience called sublime?

A journey, life’s river, a nature divine?
Shadowy thoughts are kept at bay.
Am I unsure, missing this time?

The clock tells with a predawn chime,
A silent invitation for me to pray.
Is this experience called sublime?

Years slip by, I’m past my prime,
Great expectations have gone their way.
Am I unsure, missing this time?

Many mountains remain to climb,
The valley view holds a flowers’ bouquet.
Is this experience called sublime?

The scheme, the effort shows a design,
Renditions vary, so unworldly and fey.
Am I unsure, missing this time?
Is this experience called sublime?
