Molten Madness Eruption by Jacqueline Rudy

Jacqueline Rudy | March 4th, 2026 | poetry | No Comments

Poem

stone against stone
strike, strike, strike
spark
streaks–singing, soaring
above

deep wells
tectonic tensions
bedrock cracks

tremors
below our feet,
bellow in our ears and in our bones
quickening,
burbling,
pumping through veins

b’beat, b’beat, b’beat

gurgling mountain awakens
fire of death,
fire of life,
fire to open
this molten
madness
eruption
