Mother Earth by Samuel Ndango

Come to me my children.
My belly is filled with the
Fruit of the earth.
Do not despair, for with me
You will have all you want.

Walk tall, Walk short
Walk fast, Walk slow
On the land, in the sea
In the air, I will always be
There to guide you.

Come to me my children
Do not despair
In times of trouble,
I will be by your side.
In times of sorrow,
I will grieve with you.
In time of anger,
I will calm you down
In times of happiness,
I will glad with you
So keep nothing from me
My children, for my belly
Is filled with the fruit of
The earth. From this I
Will rejuvenate you.

Come to me my children.
Do not despair.
Come to me with all your
Burdens and I will carry it.
Slowly we shall walk through.
Do not kill others because you are tired.
Do not kill yourself because you are tired.
Do not run away because you are tired.
Do not give up because you are tired.
Give me all your burden and I will
Guide you through. Together we shall
Find the path; for my belly is filled
With the fruit of the earth.

Come to me my children
Do not despair
Yesterday I promised to give
You the fruit of my belly
Today I have no one to
Give to because you went too
Far than I could reach you
My belly is arching and I have
To go with the fruit in my belly.
