CW: (Suicidal Ideation)
When it gets bad she’s always there,
in the eve of that pearly door.
Every room, every field, she’s there,
and a soft promise on her lips.
She says, “This, a sacred entrance.
The sweetest magic through the door.”
Promises that the pain will stop.
There is no sadness in her halls.
And, yes, she is so beautiful,
but still I am afraid of her.
Because once you walk down that road
the way back, the path forgotten,
you can never come back again.
If I just take that last small step.
And she grows in beauty daily;
her song all the more welcoming.
