Beauty has its flaws
Sometimes it reveals
Sometimes it conceals
For the petals, the thorns
To seem less harmful
Beauty had to veil the flaws
So the harmful may seem
To be contrary to what it appears as.

Poet Bio

Sizwe Martins is an artist and a language practitioner. Started poetry in 2007 in primary school and has shown growth in the art of writing. His works were published in The Next Generation Speaks Global Youth Anthology and in Avbob Poetry.
