Poet Bio

Carpets carry dust
from all the old furniture,
Roaches gather for meetings
along the kitchen ceiling,
And the spiders play their harps
in all corners of the
bedroom window.
Rover’s in the backyard
chasing his own tail. A
lonely pet who needs a friend,
Like his owner in the kitchen.
She turns eighty this year.
