Peace by Thandiwe Mazondwa

Thandiwe Mazondwa | Sep 23rd, 2022 | poetry | No Comments

There awaits a flow of peace
An experience
A calmness

A peek into the back of the past
Future lovers lost
Past apparition praised.

There peace lies in moments of stillness,
A gush of forced stillness
Whirlwind whisper
You looking into me,
looking through you
Looking past us

I have found my peace
Squashed between my fingers
slithering into my palm
Passing through my lips
Gazing into my eye

A picture-perfect phantom parading primal premonitions
