Poet Bio

Planning December starts from the Chanukah cards:
they are the notes to say,
“May your heart be full of light. I love you.”

The prisoners are the missing ones:
the splurge does not touch them,
and they are unable to sit at the family table.

Planning December is the same as
planting a seed of love in one’s heart:
to The One, I sent a Nutcracker card with the handwritten line,
“You were always on my mind.”
