Hope Netshivhambe was born and raised in Venda, South Africa. Hope is a creator, thinker, speaker and a spoken word artist. She started writing at the age of 17 and has not looked back since. Hope holds a marketing diploma from the Vaal University of Technology and a certificate in Radio and TV presenting from Oakfields College. She has been profiled on a number of different radio stations, has shared her poetry and stories at the South African state theatre, Joburg theatre and as well as various places in and around South Africa.
Hope was one of the top 10 finalists in the Tshwane Speak Out Loud competition in 2016/2017 and in 2019 she entered the same competition and took 3rd place. Hope lives by her self-coined mantra ‘ Do what you came for’ which speaks of purpose.
