Thando Motumi aka Met_A_Morphosis is a sketch artist and Poet who uses abstract art to deliver spoken word poetry. He delivers intricate freestyles with a conscious flow. Based in Pretoria having performed at the Joburg Theatre complex, Market Theatre Lab (Word N Sound) and Niki’s Oasis(Cuddle Session), State Theatre (Tshwane Speak Out Loud) to name a few. With an extensive repertoire, his style is reminiscent of the early years of Hip Hop. He released his debut album Wormhole of Consciousness on the 17th of July 2020. The music fuses elements of Hip Hop, Jazz, Neo Soul and Classical Music. This is underpinned by notions of self through the lens of philosophy, science and art.
