The fourth annual Polokwane Literary Fair opened yesterday with the National Book Week breakfast, community outreaches as well as a gala dinner.
Organised under the theme “We Are One Africa” the fair features authors and poets from all over South Africa.
Tonight’s programme is titled Polokwane Burning Poetry and features some of our favourites poets as well poets who’s work we, at Poetry Potion, haven’t encountered yet. Featured poets include:
David wa Maahlamela, Vangi Gantsho, Phillippa Yaa De Villiers, Vonani Bila, Raphael d’Abdon, Bishop M.T. Makobe, Sello Chokoe, Goodenough Mashego, Ntsikwane Raphesu, MoAfrika ‘a Mokgathi
The fair is held by the in association with Metro FM, runs from the 9th to the 13th of September.
