Melville Poetry Festival presents 100 000 Poets for Change. This is part of the international poetry event which will see poets around the world celebrating poetry, art and music to promote social, environmental and political change.
This event will take place Johannesburg, today at 4pm to 7pm, at Picobella in Melville.
There will be poetry readings and performances from Gary Cummiskey, Arja Salafranca, Hans Pienaar, Rene Bohnen, Phillippa Yaa De Villiers, Alan Finlay, Corne Coetzee, Victor Khulile Nxumalo, David Chislett, Michelle McGrane and Gerard Rudolf.
There will also be a launch of Hans Pieenar’s new book Chaos will also be launched at the event.
