Poem

If things don’t go right,
you try as you might.
pop a pill.

Got a small headache..
Noise keeps you awake.
Pop a pill.

Thoughts buzzing around,
Too high off the ground,
Pop a pill.

Sister screaming loud,
Too noisy in crowd.
Pop a pill.

Computer breaks down.
Liquor sorrows drown.
Pop a pill.

No Calgon in house.
Wife’s lion, you’re mouse.
Pop a pill.

Too many bills owed.
Can’t remember code.
Pop a pill.

Child wakes; starts screaming.
Laptop mouse lost ping.
Pop a pill.

Instant messaging,
Door bell rings, birds sing,
Pop a pill.

Life is just too hard.
All options now barred.
Pop pills………..
