How does time move
(swells stretches stationary inflates
ddrrrrraaaaaaaaagggggs out –
drinks
every
drop
until
it
relinquishes itself to the next minute)
to the boy who watches the snail
awaiting the arrival of the father
who will bring him to play catch?
He measures it in slime
As he can’t yet tell the time
In interminable minutes.
