Do you see the chains are gone.
Yet you dance bearing thorns,
A Crown of African bone
Now Ancestors have hope in soil.

Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika rise higher
Better than spear or fire.
Rival arts of the northern realm.
Kungani do the farmer harm?

Leave the ash at the door,
You need not tally score.
Rome fell with greedy sword.
A world won by a scholars mind.

Marvel at your untapped power,
It lives in strength of mind and words of power.

  1. Awesome deepness of the hurting souls. Love it, almost shed a tear which is so true of those who was chained for so long. xx
