samaritan, help the children by Malerato Phokane

Malerato Phokane | January 7th, 2016 | a poem a day challenge, poetry | No Comments

Samaritan won’t you come hither?
Thy children poorly starved,
Too many sleep in sleepless sleeps.

Neglected by society,
Do we stand a chance?

Brutally criticized,
Whom are we to be?

Another one just dumped,
Are we such a waste?

Children bearing children,
Such a shame.
