Hoodwinked by one,
Assaulted by three,
She was burning with rage and revenge,
She was zealous in taking a pound of flesh,
She went on a pilgrimage,
To seek his assistance,
The assistance of a powerful wizard,
To cast an irrevocable spell,
On the perpetrators of the dastardly act,
On those that have scarred her,
He was indeed very willing to assist,
The potion was prepared,
But it lacked one,
One needed to make the spell
rock potent and irrevocable,
She was told to find a tree,
He directed her to a tree in
the lake to complete the spell,
She went on the search mission,
Her anger and burning rage propelled her,
Against all odds and
near-death encounters,
She was able to bring a part of the tree,
The wizard was prepared to complete the final mix,
He looked at her and asked,
If he should carry on,
Knowing that there would be no remedy,
She gave a nod,
Then made a stop,
Tears streamed down her face.
