I met my old friend
In the river of floods
I didn’t know about it
Just what was going on
I reminisce over my childhood
The friendship she’d promised
I never wanted her to leave
with me begging
for one more moment
Alone, lonely
No more patience left
No more desire left
Desolate, desperate
Death beckons for me
My friend’s soul awaits
We will be in heaven, right?
