Poem

In this journey we tend to do the unthinkable.
And I admit my attitude wasn’t honourable.
Though I knew it would get me into trouble,
I still had the tendency to find it ignorable.

This is not good at all.
My back is against the wall.
I guess I have to stand tall.
I can’t afford to take another fall.

Thoughts playing in my mind like puppets.
Noises in my head sounding like trumpets.
How long am I keeping it under the carpet?
The headache is on my head like a target.

The guilty conscience drives me insane.
Not even a favourite song can keep me sane.
I keep taking a stroll down memory lane.
Surely this demeanour ruined my life like Bane.
