Poet Bio

in the Beginning
there were stars and a sun
and also black holes
but people only count the stars
they say the event horizon is the
point of no return
where the pressure is so much
that light can’t survive it
they only count the stars
though the smothering black
is just as much an entity
stars will burn you
but night will only snuff you out
