Your homeland depends
upon the basketball team
to show the rest of the world
how your smallness doesn’t matter.
Your homeland wishes
the team will win in the end,
the parades shall be enormous
and the elections shall be fair then.
Your homeland plans
to contribute the team
to the prison population,
if they don’t succeed enough.
Wave your flags, fellow countrymen,
wave your flag, before you get shot.
