A scorched land,
A thirsty people,
A furious Divine,
Angered spirits.
Once, there was water,
And the land teemed with life,
Showers fell from the sky’s fountain,
Nature bloomed, and the people thrived in this bounty.
But with the passage of time,
The dreaded calamity struck,
Leaving the land in dust and drought,
And enveloped in a haunting darkness.
Redemption would come from a journey into the unseen,
A place where light accompanies the torn and worn,
There, the spirits would guide the soul to the Divine,
And the ultimate appeasement would be made.
Three sages ventured on behalf of the land.
They succeeded in connecting with the spirits,
And were led to the Divine,
But one did not return,
He was the gateway to the tendrils of darkness.
