Resisting amorous advances.
Because the mind is teeming in circle
and trapped in fantasies.
Wishes and hopes drowning in fiction.
Fiction of liebestraume.
Don’t be a utopian.
Ignoring the reality of life.
Forgetting that perfection is moulded by mistakes.
Fantasy and need are like quarks and gluons,
They are hard to separate.
Undoubtedly,
human need is powerful.
Like rock cress that grow in drought.
If need cannot be satisfied,
Liebestraume crumble like baked goods.
It must not be a will-o’-the-wisp.
