Serenity,
purity,
calmness,
playfulness,
fierceness,
thoughtfulness,
toughness,
intuitiveness,
the fleetness of actions and thoughts,
friendliness,
harshness,
and the ascetic approach to everything
are the 12 commandments of Nature,
the rules of the three young moose playing
near the railroad tracks,
the two rabbits and deer at the field,
the old pines and spruces standing at the swamp
and the birches, aspens, and alders by the lakeside.
Why shouldn’t I follow the same commandments too?
