With her transient beauty
she walks graciously towards me.
With every step, a touch of scent is left,
so fresh, the aroma of cut grass.
She paused for a moment,
just to admire my bare elegance.
She looked at me with those big compassionate smiling eyes.
Joyfully giving me a warm and light hug.
Once again, like old, we conversed in the language of hope.
Soon I will host picnics again,
bring lovers together.
Soon I will bring shade,
bringing shelter and protection to all.
Once again, like old, I will be called home.
