Poet Bio

We didn’t sail then,
we got shot instead,
the wrong words did
what they usually do.

Our bodies smelled,
most sailors threw up,
a lot of tourists stopped
to observe our quietude.

We disappointed all,
we just stood up to go,
our work was not done
and we still needed a ride.

The shooters returned.
‘We can hurt them again!’
