Poet Bio

From light
he emerged
with unfathomable
kindness and compassion.

He picks up your frail hand
intertwining it into his.
Strengthening you a little
to endure the pain and suffering
from this hellish disease
you’ve been fighting.

He whispers in your ear
“I hold the promise of rest”
Your soul beams at him
Finally, the long-awaited rest is here.
