The people here are indifferent
Each a faceless mask walking past
With neither zest nor lust for life
A crowded city
Inhabited by total strangers
No one knows anyone here
I’m completely lost
Each passing soul a shuffling ghost
Nobody knows anybody
All trapped in a prison
Of artificial intelligence
Everyone minding their own business
Kept in company
But always feeling so alone
