The Prize by Stephanie Du Plessis

Stephanie Du Plessis | Jul 27th, 2020 | poetry | No Comments

Each night, it’s the same dream
A glance at the darkness
I’ve been running endlessly
It is as if the road stretches to prevent me from reaching my destined prize
Until the night of the pumpkin moon as I finally reached the end
I grasped my prize: A glimpse at the morning light.
