Look with your eyes, look with your spirit
Is it me, is it you, is it him trying to be us?
Too scared to look away so you carry it,
in dreams, nightmares, hallucinations.

So beautiful you say, why you so vain?
Skin like rays of soothing sunlight,
your smile triggers an earthquake.
is it fear, is it joy, is it surrender?

I look at me, at you or is it him?
Where did I go, or did I multiply?
I’m here and there, still nowhere,
Who will pay my ransom today?

I hear a voice from beyond all time,
I close my eyes, I fall, I am no more,
but I am here, I’m there, I’m everywhere.
I’m in you, I’m in her and He is in us.

Let your beauty make you vain,
let your strength, loyalty evolve,
Show your teeth and let the earth shake
Make the mirror crack to tell no more.
