The Seventh Sea by Righardt Luus

Poem

God’s creation,
On day number three,
A reflection of the sky
Was born as the sea.

On day number four,
He made it the unexplored,
With the fish and the plants,
And life in a million different forms.

A grave for many a thousand
Of people who doubted
That the Titanic would ever be forced
To be bound.

A devastating hunger for ships and planes alike,
Like the mysterious triangle;
Forced to strangle anything that seeks its voyage.

But with the twilight sky peeking behind,
Its beauty shines bright.
The mysteries are put aside,
And the reminiscences of danger
Return at night.
