I will soar on the wings of hope,
I will walk in the light of the new day.
The night calls us to rest,
We take solace in our best,
Our souls sojourn from our bodies,
In the ambience of the night melodies.
As long as I see the sky,
I walk out of the night’s way,
I will seek redemption,
I will find a path through the day.
Time has deemed it fit to let me through its door,
As long as I see the sky,
I’ll channel light to my core,
I’ll seek stars in the strange.
