Poet Bio

She and I were different
In many, many ways
I was happy
She was sad
Her parents were good
My parents were bad
She and I were different
In many, many ways

She and I were not alike
We were not the same at all
I was up
And she was down
I ate of the table
She ate of the ground
Mine was blonde
Hers was brown
She and I were not alike
We were not the same at all

She and I were different
In many, many ways
She was chalk
And I was cheese
I said “thank you”
She said “please”
I lived in a castle
She lived on her knees
I was the cure
And she the disease
She and I were different
In many, many ways

She and I were not alike
We were not the same at all
She was belittled
And I was praised
My vision was steered
Her vision was hazed
I’m still alive
She died in a blaze
She is at peace
And I am in pain
She and I were not alike
We were not the same at all

She and I were different
In many, many ways
I was the slayer
She was the vermin
She was the Jew
And I was the German
She and I were different
In many, many ways

Poet Bio

I’m sixteen years old and I love writing. It is something which doesn’t require anyone else to get involved-it’s merely my mind, heart and soul that is needed.
