Poem

Enjoying our supper
while watching the news.
Then all of a sudden
the light bulbs they fuse.

I run to the shop
in the dark while they wait.
Dinner with candles;
not even a date.

The street lights are out
so we go with the flow.
Hang out by the fire
two hours or so.
