Poet Bio

the peace
the bliss in my solitude
the love of the space in my centre
where only I can enter
my alma mater
the little joys that keep the clock of my sanity ticking
like the alchemist
a good book
like a poem that speaks life
to the dying parts of myself
no man is an island
like deep conversations with a stranger
who seems to get me
more than I get myself
and i am left wondering whether i
have just met an angel
and for once I do not wish that he or she
was my best friend
for friends like lovers come and go
but strangers stay us
without any effort or feelings wasted
building up things meant to stay broken
in thinking of things I keep safe
under my skin
and find yourself getting lost
looking for me
if you’re lucky you will find me above.
