Poem

From where I stand
that six could be a nine
It all just depends on the state of your mind…

Jesus preached an upside down kingdom

One where the cheek is turned
and a soft word is spoken
Where the greatest among us
will become our servants

Perception is key…

He who is first will be last
and he who is last will rise
with wings as an eagle
and soar…

God uses the foolish things to
confound the wise
The weak things to show His strength…

Jesus turns my six (failure, my weakness, my flaws)
into a nine (towards completion, but not yet the end)
as I give Him my nothingness, my emptiness, my broken
and battered heart…

And journey with Him…

He takes my ashes and trades them for beauty…

Jesus preached an upside down kingdom.

Where we are encouraged to love those who persecute us.

A Kingdom where the greatest are those who know how to serve.

A Kingdom where we first have to die
to learn how to live.

From where I’m standing,
that six looks a lot like a nine
It just depends on your state of mind…

Perception is key.
