Poet Bio

We will decide what you will say
And to whom.
We will decide, not what you will write,
But what will be received and read.
Lacunae of parchment.
Vacuum.
(And in our ignorance
We will not understand that
Within those shadows are messages
Screaming louder than the words removed.)
We will decide who sees the day
And when. And in our own blindness,
We will not see the light
Of truth shining, or bravery spread
Across the land.
Pressure.
