The deeper I go into myself,

I see the self-portrait of a gladiator,
Each day I sail across a turbulent sea,
The more I understand the mysteries that unveil through me.
Each day I see the unrecognisable,
The more it becomes recognisable.
Today is a reflection of the journey through the night,
Tomorrow represents the unrelenting pursuit of the light,
The shedding of the leaves of the Iroko tree is for its continued existence,
It blossoms again with revitalised cells,
The night urges us to find the path that leads to redemption,
A path that’s sometimes a long walk into the unknown.
