Tonight we are the night mystified
The moon, the stars, the darkness unified
Tonight we wear unforgettable’s blanket
While slow dancing to a chorus of classic crickets

Tonight your eyes add to the mist
I listen attentively to your body art
It speaks to me in a confidential language
Long lost to this planet, resurrected in your visage

Tonight you glow in the dark
And I intend to steal from your spark
Tonight we dine on body and soul
Love will know true meaning after all

Tonight our tone is pitch black
The owl translates the words we lack
Tonight love feasts on our fantasies
And shines the light into our darkest nightmares

Tonight we are midnight personified
Zero hour (00:00) briefly………paused
Tonight our moans will haunt the grey wolfs’ howls
Our hearts ravel with the aurora at the magnetic poles
