Visibility is enabled by illumination
What is sparked in me
that sees you
as worthy of affection?
Which lights turn on
when you turn me on?
What do I see in you
that the world cannot?
What do you see in me
that I haven’t seen?
Has the sun risen
where I am
and set
where you are?
Know that you are my bright star.
It may not dawn for us all.
You awaken me to your presence
like the Sun is of essence.
I see you.
