The wasteland reached you
during your daily breakfast,
you just had your coffee,
when the spill occurred.
You let yourself be in the flow
throughout the entire incident,
you could have rebelled now,
but you are way too late …
A gathering of sounds rages
within their surroundings,
many silently stare on,
their eyes don’t blink.
The wasteland occupies the whole,
people shrug and continue foraging …
