Poet Bio

We stole the land.
We stole the people.
Fed them god and prayer and steeple.
We raped the women.
Enslaved their children.
Fed bodies to death by the million…
…but sure…
quiver your brow,
cry your white rage and tears now,
our history of violence,
all gone by the way,
because a black person was mean to you yesterday?
