Wings of the Midnight Sky by Mohit Saini

Poem

The heavens breathe in silver beams,
A sea of stars in whispered dreams.
They wake in silence, soft and slow,
To dance where only night winds go.
Their voices hum in ancient tongue,
Of battles fought and ballads sung.
Each flicker holds a secret tale,
Of love once bright, now growing pale.
The moon, a queen with pallid face,
Commands the dark with quiet grace.
She guides their waltz through endless deep,
Where galaxies in slumber sleep.
And though the dawn will steal their glow,
Their light remains—a fading echo.
For when the sun has had its reign,
They’ll rise and sing the dark again.
Let their glow be your refrain,
A promise through both joy and pain:
Though night may stretch and shadows loom,
The stars will always find their room.
