Poem

You’re the only
wordsmith on earth, the autumn
afternoon whispered to me.

Green grass I walk on, are words.
Wild flowers are words.
Some pink and some yellow fruits
hanging from trees, tell me the fruits
of words. I hear them gossip
in low voices. They are exchanging stories
of forgotten times and more.

But I fail to decipher a single one
this afternoon,
when I try to bare open flowers,
green grass, pink
and yellow fruits.
