You were born by Siza Nkosi

Born of regrets,
Baptized in the fire of false self realizations
Brought up in alcohol flooded homes
With no room for moral values
Just a few lessons learnt
Get sloshed! Get high! Get laid!
The blind is leading the blind
From the pass one pass all education system
To the media inspired parenting skills
That kill our beautiful native languages
And belittles our black pride
You were born
In streets where the sun shines in loneliness
The sky weeps the death of your childhood
And the rainbow is shy to smile
Cause you’re never outside to play
